THE FOOD We have decided on a caterer, and I couldn't be more excited about the menu! After tastings with 4 different caterers, we decided to go with Wendy Krispin. She was a little more expensive than the other options, but the creativity of her presentation and quality of ingredients couldn't be beat. Ice cream, anyone? This is a budget pending item, but I would really like to add a gelato cart from Paciugo when we do the cake cutting. We didn't want to do another dessert spread since we're already having cake, but cake and ice cream (or gelato) seems like the perfect combination! Update: Gelato cart has been booked! The flavors will be Pannacotta (wedding cake), Fondente (extra dark Belgian chocolate), Green Tea, and Raspberry. |
