The wedding ceremony will take place on the Lakeside Terrace of the historic Filter Building on White Rock Lake in Dallas. Dinner, dancing, and merriment will immediately follow in The Filter Hall.

Constructed in 1921, The Filter Building served as a part of the water utility system in Dallas until the 1950's, when larger, more modern reservoirs (such as Lake Lewisville and Grapevine Lake) made the comparatively smaller White Rock Lake obsolete as a drinking water source. Rehabilitated in 2008 by the non-profit White Rock Boathouse Inc as an event center, The Filter Building provides a means for the organization to raise funds for its educational outreach programs, including a junior rowing program for Dallas ISD's high schools.

The Filter Building is located right in the heart of the city, but in a residential area that is somewhat secluded due to the lake.  To avoid confusion at some of the turns, we plan on making rustic wooden signs similar in style to the one we made for the engagement photos.
